Régions de France

This wikispace is intended for the students of French Forum at Wissahickon High School.

Project Assignment:

To continue our study of the regions of France, in groups of 1-3 you will be researching and presenting one region to the class. You will also be finding and creating a recipe that reflects the specialities of that region. Using the "glogster" program, you will give a short presentation and thereby demonstrate your knowledge of your region. Your "glogster" will be hosted on this "Wikispace".

Requirements:

  • Poster: Research your region and create a poster (in French) that includes relevant images and the answers to the following questions:
    • Où est la région en France?
    • Quelle ville est la capitale de la région?
    • Quelles sont les attractions touristiques de la région?
    • Qu'est-ce qu'il y a intéresant à faire dans la région?
    • Quelles sont les spécialitiés de la région?
  • Recipe: Research and find a recipe that is a specialty of your region and prepare the recipe for the class.
  • Presentation: Present your region and recipe to the class, in French:
    • Each person in your group should speak.
    • Present your poster with the answers to the questions above.
    • Present your recipe by telling the class the main ingredients, in French. You do not need to present the quantities of ingredients or the instructions on making it.

  • Total: 50 points

    • Wednesday, 9/30: Assignment, find groups, choose region
    • Thursday, 10/1: Library to research/find recipe
    • Friday, 10/2: Library to research/start poster
    • Monday, 10/5: Library to research/make poster
    • Tuesday, 10/6: Fête des régions!
